At King's lodge, we understand the importance of taking a break from the physical and mental pressures of providing regular care to a loved one, as. If you are a carer or a family member, we would love to help you and your loved one by providing flexible respite care knowing they are comfortable, content and well cared for by our excellent staff. We provide respite care for anyone looking for temporary support, whether it's a post hospital visit, a short break away from home, change in care or allow for a holiday. Respite care is available for all types of disability and for varying lengths of time.

OUR PROCESS

Our person-centred approach ensures all care is specific to individual lifestyles and requirements and is seen in the context of the person as a whole, incorporating the family dynamics and change in social settings. We also take into account their individual interests, passions and hobbies and ensure they are engaged and ocntent with their day to day life and activities. We nurse residents through all aspects of illness. Our focus is to care for our residents within the Centre and keep hospital admissions only for absolute acute intervention. Our rates are inclusive of all nursing and personal care, linen and laundry, food and drink and group activities.
